October 21: SALEM‘S LOT (1979) / THE SHINING (1980)

Tonight is Stephen King Night. First up is SALEM'S LOT, a terrifying TV minseries directed by Tobe Hooper and released in 1979, followed by THE SHINING, a chilling cinema classic directed by Stanley Kubrick in 1980. 

October 20: PHANTASM (1979) / NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD (1990)

Tonight is After You're Dead Night on 62 HORROR MOVIES. First up is Don Coscarelli's nightmare classic PHANTASM from 1979 (in which I also discuss all five films in the PHANTASM series), followed by NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, the incredible remake directed by horror icon Tom Savini in 1990.

October 19: HALLOWEEN (1978) / HALLOWEEN II (1981)

Our double feature this evening on 62 HORROR MOVIES consists of two classic films that take place on the same deadly night: HALLOWEEN (1978) and HALLOWEEN II (1981). I also give a brief overview of all the movies in the HALLOWEEN franchise in the second half of this episode.

October 18: SUSPIRIA (1977) / THE COMPANY OF WOLVES (1984)

Tonight is Frightful Fairy Tales night. First up is the legendary SUSPIRIA, directed by Dario Argento and released in 1977, followed by THE COMPANY OF WOLVES written by Angela Carter and directed by Neil Jordan in 1984.

October 17: THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW (1975) / CARRIE (1976)

Tonight is Scary 70's night on 62 HORROR MOVIES. First up on our late-night double feature is THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW released in 1975. Second up is CARRIE, adapted from the novel by Stephen King in 1976.

October 16: THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE (1974) / POLTERGEIST (1982)

Tonight is celebrating Tobe Hooper Night on 62 HORROR MOVIES. First up in this evening's deliciously dark double feature is THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE from 1974, followed by POLTERGEIST released in 1982.

October 15: THE DEVILS (1971) / THE EXORCIST (1973)

It is Satanic Panic Night Part 2! First up is THE DEVILS from 1971, banned all over the world, followed by the Oscar-winning horror classic THE EXORCIST from 1973. Two equally disturbing visions of demonic possession.

October 14: ROSEMARY‘S BABY (1968) / HERIDITARY (2018)

Tonight is Satanic Panic Night on 62 HORROR MOVIES, a podcast where I host a creepy double feature every night in October. First up tonight is ROSEMARY'S BABY from 1968, followed by HEREDITARY from 2018.

October 13: MAD MONSTER PARTY ( 1966) / THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS (1993)

Tonight is Spooky Stop Motion Night. First up is MAD MONSTER PARTY from 1966, made by Rankin-Bass of RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER fame. And then, of course, THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS from 1993, conceived by Tim Burton and directed by Henry Selick.

October 12: THE GHOST AND MR. CHICKEN (1966) / ERNEST SCARED STUPID (1991)

Tonight is Comedians Get Creepy night on 62 HORROR MOVIES. First up is THE GHOST AND MR. CHICKEN starring Don Knotts, followed by ERNEST SCARED STUPID starring Jim Varney.
